The Traditional Lucky Cat

We couldn’t be a China-based ceramics company without creating traditional Lucky Cat bottles! Did you know that the lucky cat, also known as the beckoning cat, is the most popular lucky charm in both Japanese and Chinese cultures? They are called Zhao Cai Mao in China and Maneki-Neko in Japan. When the cat’s right paw is up, this is meant to bring (beckon) luck and good fortune to the owner. When the left paw is up (or moving up and down), more customers start to enter a business, making it more profitable. Rockwood’s Baijiu client decided on the latter, bringing Rockwood Ceramics more business!
